North Kildonan has a large, settled older population and a notable concentration of seniors' housing, including a number of retirement and supportive housing residences along and near Henderson Highway. That mix means we do two quite different kinds of work in this area: supporting people in their own long-held houses, and providing one-to-one top-up hours for residents inside seniors' residences whose needs have outgrown the building's shared staffing. Bunn's Creek Centennial Park gives clients a genuinely pleasant local walking option, and Concordia Hospital is close, which simplifies both emergencies and follow-up appointments.
